ICC has a commitment to serve the community, regardless of ability to pay. As such we have a sliding scale, based on income. Counseling is not covered by Japanese medical insurance. We are willing to help those with foreign medical insurance with claims for reimbursement from their insurance carriers, but ICC will not deal directly with insurance companies or wait for reimbursement from them except in special circumstances. Initial assessment (80 min.)--------------yen 12,000 Regular psychotherapy session (55 min.)---yen 6,000-12,000 Double session (110 min.) --------------yen 12,000-24,000 Family therapy session (85 min.) ---------yen 9,000-18,000 Group therapy (90 min.) ----------------yen 5,000 Home visit (85 min.) -----Transportation + yen 9,000-18,000 Phone therapy (55 min.)--phone charges + yen 6,000-12,000 Cancellation policy: Sessions cancelled 24 hours or more in advance are not charged. Scheduling is often one of the most frustrating aspects of doing therapy. If you need to cancel on the day of your appointment, please try to contact your therapist directly if you have the necessary contact information. ICC genuinely tries to respect the unique needs of each client by being flexible in our scheduling. We appreciate the same respect from our clients. For sessions cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or for failed sessions not due to an emergency, clients will be charged the usual fee. ICC is committed to serving those who need our services regardless of ability to pay. ICC does have a fund to subsidize some clients who are unable to pay the minimum amount. Please feel free to ask about this option. Workshops and other presentations are negotiable, but will cost approximately \20,000 per hourly presentation plus expenses for travel and educational materials.
